Abstract

It has been shown that acute kidney injury (AKI) incidence due to contrast after PCI procedure was variable between < 2-30% depend on risk factors of patients before. The increase of creatinine serum > 25% or ³0.5 mg/dl compared with baseline value in 48-72 hours after PCI indicated contrast induced nephropathy (CIN). L-Type Fatty Acid Binding Protein (L-FABP) is one of biomarker that can detect earlier of AKI before creatinine serum increased. This study aimed to investigate the association of creatinine serum changes and urinary L-FABP changes in post PCI patients.
