Abstract

Since the emergence of Novel SARS COV 2 in Wuhan region of china in late 2019, there are various reports of acute kidney injury in patients of COVID 19 disease. The reported incidence of AKI in patients with covid19 varies from 5 - 30% across the globe. Differences may have resulted from definitions of AKI and the populations studied. In this study, we sought to define the rate of AKI among patients hospitalized with COVID-19 and to describe various risk factors and outcomes of AKI in this patient population
