Abstract

This article presents the analysis of the impact of the geometry of the indirect lighting with LEDs on the lighting efficiency and its uniformity. The example lighting was studied by first examining the results of computer simulations, which were then verified via measurements of the illuminance distribution within the developed model. The simulation analysis for lighting was further confirmed through measurement results, with the observed utilisation factors differing by only 3% from the calculated values. The measured and calculated lighting uniformities were also high and quite approximate. (Comparison of computer simulation and measurement results for models of indirect lighting with light emitting diodes.
