Abstract

The Port of Santos plays a fundamental and strategic role in the Brazilian foreign trade context, being recognized as one of the main points of entry and exit of goods in the country. This paper analyzes the port's movements from 2005 to 2022 to understand cargo flows, identify opportunities for improvement given the challenges faced, and suggest trends for the future of port operations. This paper results from extensive data collection whose analysis reveals operational patterns and valuable insights to improve port management, optimize logistics operations, and promote the efficient flow of goods.
