May 06 2021 Portfolio: Lost in Space John Jesurun John Jesurun John Jesurun is a playwright, director, and media artist based in New York. His body of work includes film, video and computer technology (Firefall, Snow, Slight Return) as well as new plays and rewritings of the classics (Faust∼How I Rose, Philoktetes), and directing opera (Harry Partch's Delusion of the Fury). Over the years he has staged numerous episodes of his ongoing serial, Chang in a Void Moon. Jesurun's productions have been seen at Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Kitchen, Dance Theater Workshop, Soho Rep, La MaMa, and Japan Society, in addition to his stagings in Europe, Mexico, and Japan. Recent productions include Distant Observer and Shadowland Live. His Shatterhand Massacree and other Media Texts is a PAJ Publications title.
