Abstract

Designing functional nanomaterials with a large surface area is critical for developing high performance energy, electrochemical, and electronic devices. In article 1601034, Dongkyu Lee, Ho Nyung Lee, and co-workers provide a completely new synthesis route to the formation of vertically aligned single-crystalline oxide nanobristles discovered by pulsed laser epitaxy under kinetically and thermodynamically balanced non-equilibrium conditions.
