Abstract
AbstractThe causes of 'population explosion' in developing economies today are identified in the light of demographic histories in both developed and developing economies in order to make future predictions. Further, the development theories of classical economists such as Malthus and Ricardo to modern theorists, who tried to incorporate population as an endogenous variable in the economic system, are examined.
