Population Displacement and its Impact on Residential Use in Al-Khalidiya City

Abstract

‏Population displacement is considered one of the problems of the cities of Iraq because of the absence of the political and security stability and armed conflicts that have turned the civilian population into direct targets and human shields for these conflicts. The worst practices of killing, displacement and intimidation are being committed against them.‏This has led to population displacement in order to preserve their lives and seek for safer areas. Therefore, displacement is a problem in itself in other areas, and this is what has been studied in this research to know the impact of displacement on housing in Al-khalidiy
