Abstract
Objetivo: Conocer el porcentaje de asmáticos que acuden a la emergencia del HSB, cuántos son hospitalizados y que porcentaje de estos requieren ingreso a UTIP (unidad de terapia intensiva pediátrica) Metodología: Tipo de estudio: Descriptivo, Retrospectivo, Transversal. Población y muestra: Pacientes pediátricos que acuden con crisis asmática que acude a emergencia del Hospital San Bartolomé. Resultados: Total de atenciones durante el año 2013 en EMG HSB fue de 21140, del cual el porcentaje de asmáticos que acudió a atenderse represento el 4.34%. Del total de la población asmática atendida en el servicio de emergencia del HSB, se hospitalizo el 24.3%. Del porcentaje de pacientes asmáticos hospitalizados 1.3% requirieron ingresar a Unidad de Terapia intensiva Pediátrica, de estos 5 Requirieron Ventilación mecánica invasiva y 3 ventilación no invasiva (CPAP).
