Abstract

Surveys in August-October 1968 in areas in Presidio, Texas, and Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, that were treated in 1965-1967 in a reproductive-diapause control program against Anthonomus grandis Boheman indicated that the populations were increasing in several fields. The locations of these fields in the Rio Grande and Rio Conchos valleys is such that the weevils may soon repopulate the entire sprayed area if conditions are favorable.
