Abstract
This article is composed of some thoughts on the black population and has as its main research theme the genocide of the aforementioned. The subject at hand which will be covered in detail in this article, highlights aspects very often sidelined by society as they would unify what is widely understood as peripheral aspects and thus, of lesser importance to the future of the country. Based on that observation this article presents the opportunity to reflect on the impact of Covid-19 on the lives of the inhabitants of the Baixada Fluminense who live in vulnerable conditions. Faced with the hardships this populace has to endure, it is of vital importance to consider the effects of Covid-19 on the lives of those who live.
