Abstract

This article provides an overview of the findings of an inquiry into the human rights of older people receiving home care. This article focuses on the findings related to the care provided by home care workers and how it resonates with recent findings in the NHS by the Care Quality Commission. Human rights principles and the NHS Constitution values are discussed as a reference framework for care workers to use in their everyday working practices.
