Abstract
The paper presents experimental results of a microchannel cooling system dedicated for automotive electronic equipment and appropriate for operation with hot liquids (above 60°C). It shows an influence of the environment and the coolant temperatures on operating conditions of power elements. In addition, the quality of the cooling medium as well as the effect of microchannel size on heat transfer efficiency from automotive electronic components by engine coolant is signalised.
