Abstract

It was found that the addition of polysaccharides of Tussilago farfara L. to chemotherapy scheme “cisplatin + etoposide” lead to more pronounced inhibition of the Lewis lung carcinoma growth in mice due to the reduction of its mass in comparison with these parameters in animals treated according to the same scheme isolated. A use of polysaccharides of Tussilago farfara L. could reduce the hematotoxic effect of polychemotherapy with the “cisplatin + etoposide” scheme, which was expressed in a decrease of leukopenia and anemia.
