Abstract

With the aim of extending the Sonine polynomial expansion method to the region of relativistic Maxwellian distribution functions, a new set of polynomials has been introduced in terms of their orthogonality equation. Their coefficients have been derived and tabulated as functions of the temperature for several lowest orders.
