Abstract

Polymorphous light eruption (PLE) affects one in five Europeans, being the most common photodermatosis [1]. A large-scale cross-sectional European study recently showed that inhabitants of southern countries, such as Greece, are almost three times more likely to develop PLE, than northern Europeans [1].
