Abstract

AbstractA short review of define polymerization on oxide catalysts is given. Crystalline polypropylene, polyvinyl cyclohexane, and other polymers were synthesized by means of chromium oxide catalysts. The effect of various factors on the activity of oxide catalysts in polymerization is discussed. Under certain conditions of thermal treatment of chromium oxide, CrO3 may be converted into chromium or aluminum chromates, thus increasing considerably the catalyst stability.
