Abstract

We synthesized two new polymerizable amphiphiles. The partial ternary phase diagram of one of them was determined at 25°C. Homogeneous isotropic fluid phases formed by ternary systems of the two amphiphiles, respectively, were photopolymerized to form solid polymers with very small pores left by water. The appearance and morphology of the polymers was examined and correlated to the molecular structures and formulations.
