Polymerization of α-olefins and their copolymerization with ethylene by half-sandwich scandium catalysts with an N-heterocyclic carbene ligand

Abstract

By fine-tuning the ligand of half-sandwich scandium catalysts, the polymerization of α-olefins and their copolymerization with ethylene have been achieved, affording the corresponding polymers with high molecular weight and controllable composition.
