Abstract

Broadband dielectric spectroscopy (BDS) provides a direct means of studying the molecular dynamics of polymers in the amorphous, crystalline and liquid crystalline states, in blends and other composites. Recent experimental and theoretical findings from BDS concerning the structural (a) relaxation process in amorphous polymers, polymer blends and partially-crystalline polymers are examined here in some detail.
