Abstract

This case report concerns with a woman diagnosed with a Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She had been married for six years and was not able to conceive yet. She was presently admitted to the hospital with complaints of pain and dysfunctional uterine bleeding, which she had since last two years before admission and along with complains of acne and pigmentation on skin. On examination, the serum level values of LH and FSH level were elevated, the estradiol and estrogen levels were also raised, there were signs of increased serum testosterone levels and there was increased level of prolactin.
