Abstract

Electrolytic polymerization of 2,2′-thienylpyrrole gave films having a good electrical conductivity and electrochemical response. The structure of neutral polymer was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry, UV absorption, and CP-MAS FT-NMR. Evidence for the formation of an alternating copolymer of pyrrole and thiophene was afforded.
