Abstract

This article aims to characterize the creative economy and their ways of learning from the perspective of the State financial incentives. Initially, we present the articulation between the state financial support and the organizational learning as from the cultural lens. Then the concept and characteristics of the creative economy are identified. Based on a qualitative study, interviews were conducted with candidates for mayor of a big city of Santa Catarina. The interviews were transcribed following the steps of content analysis. The results of this research present the visions and ideas of the candidates for mayor about organizational learning in the creative economy and culture at the municipal level.
