Abstract

The application of polology to the angular correlation coefficients obtained from coincidence measurements of a (d,p gamma ) reaction is considered. The central theme of the discussion is that by analytic continuation of the angular correlation functions to the poles of the plane wave Born approximation theory one is, in principle, measuring what could be called an experimental plane wave angular correlation function.
