Abstract

The noteworthy paper considered in this article has provided compelling evidence that traffic-related air pollution should be considered an environmental factor contributing to skin hyperpigmentation and clinicians should take this into account when counselling patients about skincare routines; for example, use of twice daily facial cleansers especially in urban environments.
