Abstract

Health is a fundamental Human Right and it involves the individual, the community and the State to protect and promote it. There is relationship between Politics and Health; and Political factor plays significant role in the provision of basic necessities of life and determining the health status of a Nation either directly or indirectly. The article is based on a wide ranging review of published and unpublished sources. It discussed the interplay between Politics, Health and Military Diplomacy. The need for political leaders, especially in developing countries, to invest more on health care, housing, food, water, employment, education, poverty alleviation, peace making and preventive diplomacy rather than gunboat diplomacy is advocated.
