Politics and Judges: Improving Judicial Decision-making

Abstract

Based on a fundamental study by Ryan Malphurs, «Rhetoric and Discourse in [US] Supreme Court Oral Arguments», the present article will give recommendations based upon conclusions of US-studies of judicial decision-making, thus contributing to the actual discussion of the judicial selection process in Switzerland.
