Abstract

Studies of political socialization and political education have received much attention from political psychologist’, sociologists and scientists during recent years. However there seems to be a paucity of empirical studies examining the relationship between political socialization and political education and the latter’s role as a socializing agent. In this chapter an attempt is made to study the impact of political education on the political socialization of two generations of women in India’s pluralistic society.KeywordsPolitical PartyPolitical ParticipationIndian SocietyIndian WomanPublic MeetingThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
