Abstract

This chapter is concerned with exploring the postwar Greek political economy. It discusses politico-economic developments, concentrating in particular on the roles and organizational properties of social interests, the dominant patterns of policy-making, and the evolving European dimension of the Greek political economy. Section 1 examines the postwar political economy; Section 2 focuses on the organization of the workers’ and business interests; finally, Section 3 focuses on some important features of the dominant policy pattern.
