Abstract

This article begins by outlining several legal dimensions in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, focusing on the territorial dimension of the conflict. Then it continues by examining several legal issues that arise as a result of Israel's exit from the Gaza Strip. In particular the article outlines two legal issues. First, it offers several observations regarding the legal status of public statements made in connection with the Disengagement Plan.
