Abstract
The article gives an overview of the conditions and aspects of small border traffic between Poland and the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russian Federation, introduced in 2012 and suspended in 2016. Its impact on the social and economic growth of the region is analysed, and the consequences of its suspension are indicated.
