Abstract

Gender is a crucial factor in evaluating an organization's human resource policies. VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading higher education institution in the nation, with a mission to research, create, and disseminate knowledge in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Currently, female lecturer constitute 64% of the total lecturers at the university. Recognizing the importance of the female lecturer, this study focuses on analyzing and evaluating policies related to female lecturers at VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities. By combining document analysis, in-depth interviews, and survey methods, the research clarifies the experiences and perceptions of female lecturers regarding existing policies, describes the challenges faced by female lecturers, and proposes solutions to improve policies in the upcoming period.
