Abstract

AbstractThe polarographic reduction potentials of some mono and diaza compounds were measured in acetonitrile solution and the reduction mechanism investigated by oscillopolarography and the Kouleckys analysis of the waves. Distinct regression lines were obtained for the two classes of compounds between the cathodic half‐wave potentials and the energy of the lowest unoccupied Hüekel π‐molecular orbital.
