Abstract
Expressions are obtained in the quasi-free scattering approximation for the asymmetry in (p, pn) and (p, 2p) reactions on polarized deuterons as well as for the polarization of spectator nucleons for the case of an unpolarized target. They guide the way to obtain new information on the D-wave deuteron wave function and thereby to refine tensor terms of the NN-potential. The particular value of noncoplanar investigations is emphasized.
