Abstract

We have considered theoretically the eigenmodes as well as forced electromagnetic and spin waves in ferromagnetic metallic slabs for different boundary conditions for magnetization. We present an algorithm for determination of microwave fields and dynamic magnetization within the slab as well as the transmitted and reflected microwave fields outside the slab. We determine the polarization of the studied waves and show that spatial oscillations of the polarization are formed within the slab. The found oscillations are in particular profound close to the surfaces of the slab in the case of strong surface pinning of spins.
