Abstract
Polarization offers the capacity to diagnose the structure of the magnetic fields in the GRB ejecta which could provide a clue to pin down the jet acceleration process. The recent early-time polarization detection at about 10% level opens the exciting possibility of measuring the time-resolved evolution of polarization degree and angle of early optical afterglow.
