Abstract

Dispersion characteristics of polariton excitations in a nonideal 1D lattice of micropores are studied versus concentrations of structural defects related to variations in the positions of the micropores that contain quantum dots in one sublattice. Such structural defects in the 1D sublattice array of micropores can be used to obtain desired changes of the energy structure of polariton excitations and, hence, optical properties of the system under study due to modification of electromagnetic spectrum.
