The frequency distribution of the polar rays along the Sun's limb and their deviation from a radial direction were investigated. New evidence is added to strengthen the previous conclusion that the hypothetical axial bar magnet in the Sun changes its length with the solar activity cycle, with the bar being longest near the epoch of spot minimum.
