Abstract

A theory of pointwise (quasi-) uniformities is based on fuzzy sets. Many theorems corresponding to the usual theorems in general topology are generalized on fuzzy sets. In particular, each fuzzy topological space is pointwise quasi-uniformizable. A pointwise uniformity is characterized in terms of a kind of complete regularity. A uniformity on the fuzzy unit interval is constructed.
