Abstract

Yuri Linnik's talent harmoniously combined a deep philosophical understanding of the universe with the virtuosity of its poetic embodiment in the most complex genre-strophic form of sonnet associations. He created a fantastic number of wreaths of sonnets impeccable in their ideological and artistic merits – 651. The poet
used to publish his works accompanied by original author's comments written in the stylistic manner of Socrates, Nietzsche and Viktor Shklovsky. A special group of his works are poetological essays, which also include conceptual reflections on two pioneer wreaths of Maximilian Voloshin's sonnets «Corona Astralis» and «Lunaria», consonant with their main pathos of a significant part of his own stephanism. One of them is presented in this publication with adequate comments. Another, dedicated to
«Corona Astralis», as we hope, will be published by our Kazakh colleagues.
