Abstract

Radical nephroureterectomy and bladder cuff resection is the standard treatment modality in patients with transitional cell carcinoma of upper urinary tract (UUT-TCC). However, the indications and roles of lymphadenectomy are uncertain. In this study, we investigated the patterns of retroperitoneal lymph node recurrence in patients with UUT-TCC following nephroureterectomy without lymphadenectomy.
