Abstract

Composite materials based on acrylate UV-cured polymers (Bis-GMA/TEGDMA) as a matrix and reinforcements that can be selected in order to adjust the properties of the obtained composite are used in the field of dental technology. The role of reinforcement is to adjust the mechanical properties, but also to control the shrinkage during curing. As reinforcement, alumina particles doped with iron oxide (Al2O3 Fe) synthesized using the sol-gel technique were selected. In order to simulate the process of adhesive application in real conditions, in vitro testing technique and adhesion properties of synthesized adhesive were used, where tooth tissue was used as a substrate. Comparison with standard adhesives used in dentistry was used to compare adhesion. The quality of the adhesive joint was evaluated using the microhardness testing method using different loads where it is estimated how the adhesive makes a connection with the substrate. It was shown that the synthesized adhesive showed significantly enhanced adhesion compared to the standard adhesive used in dentistry (836%).

EXPERIMENTALNI DEO

Komponente koje su korišćene za pripremu matrice dentalnog adheziva su bisfenol A glicidilmetatakrilat (Bis-GMA) 49,5%, trietilen glikol dimetakrilat (TEGDMA) 49,5%, kamforhinona (CQ) 0,2% i etil-4-dimetilaminobenzoat (4EDMAB) 0,8%, od proizvođača Sigma - Aldrich. Način pripreme čestica opisan je u prethodnom radu i u daljem tekstu su obeležene kao Al2O3 Fe [10]. Kompozitni dentalni adheziv dobijen je dodatkom 3 mas.% Al2O3 Fe u matricu na bazi BisGMA/TEGDMA. Kao kontrolni komercijalni adheziv korišćeno je dentin vezujuće sredstvo IV generacije (OptiBond Solo Plus, Kerr, Orange, SAD). Kao supstrat je korišćen dentin ekstrahovanih stalnih humanih zuba. Komercijalni i kompozitni dentalni adheziv na bazi BisGMA/TEGDMA naneti su na površinu zuba kako bi se ispitala njihova adhezija na površini zubnog tkiva. Slike otisaka snimljene su na optičkom mikroskopu i korišćene su za merenje dužina dijagonala otisaka pomoću programa Image-Pro Plus za svaki otisak a onda je izračunata srednja vrednost [12]. Za procenu jačine adhezije korišćen je C-G model (model Chen-Gao) gde su vrednosti srednjeg prečnika dijagonale i kompozitne tvrdoće uneti kao ulazne veličine u program MATLAB.
