Abstract

Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) is an emerging treatment option for chronic pain for those who have failed conservative treatments such as physical therapy or oral medications.1, 2 One viable target for PNS is the knee. Studies have demonstrated promise in the use of PNS for the treatment of knee pain following surgery.3-5 However, there is limited data on the efficacy of PNS for chronic knee pain in those who have not yet undergone surgical interventions. Our study aims to fill in this gap in the literature.
