Abstract

Chronic knee pain is a known cause for severe disability and lessened quality of life. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a technique that is now increasingly utilized for chronic knee pain ever since the first case report of the use of this modality for this indication in a patient with refractory post-traumatic knee pain.1 In this study, we embarked on an evaluation of pain relief in patients treated with thermal radiofrequency ablation as part of a multicenter, observational case-series.
