Abstract

Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is an established treatment for chronic neuropathic and neuropathic-like pain1,2,3. However, the heterogeneity of patients in daily clinical practice and the influence of psychosocial factors on outcome4, makes it often challenging to determine which patients are eligible for this treatment, resulting in undesirable practice variations. In order to overcome this difficulty and variability in patient selection, a multidisciplinary team of experts has created the “ E-health Tool” questionnaire, which is freely available at this link: https://www.scstool.org5.
