Abstract
Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is an established treatment for patients suffering from chronic back and leg pain. A recent advance has been the development of ECAP-controlled Closed-Loop SCS, which uses real-time measurement of dorsal column fiber activation to maintain SCS therapy. The efficacy of ECAP-controlled closed-loop SCS has been previously published1,2. Herein is a case report for a patient that previously had an unsuccessful therapy with high-frequency waveform and has been subsequently implanted with an ECAP-controlled Closed-Loop SCS system.
