Abstract
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of Dementia accounting for over 60-70% cases. Various neuromodulation techniques are being studies for AD including transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial electrical stimulation, deep brain stimulation, ultrasound stimulation, photo-biomodulation, and visual or auditory stimulation. Our review focusses on transcranial electrical stimulation specifically the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in AD patients.
