Abstract

Screening for atrial fibrillation (AF) using wearable photoplethysmography sensors can detect undiagnosed AF. The optimal timing and duration of electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring to confirm AF after an irregular heart rhythm detection (IHRD) from a wearable device is unknown.
