Abstract

Oura Ring (OR) is a wearable device that uses infrared photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors to identify and, using detection algorithms, differentiate normal sinus rhythm (NSR) from atrialfibrillation (AF). However, this method of detection has yet to be validated clinically.
