Abstract

Exposure to psychological stressors could trigger acute autonomic dysregulation, increasing the risk of catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) in vulnerable patients. Changes in respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) could indicate autonomic dysregulation due to acute external stressors. In addition, respiration habituation with respect to average RR interval from polar RSA maps could demonstrate changes in autonomic function.
